New Hampshire Consistory

New Hampshire Consistory is part of the Valley of Nashua, but is made up of all 32º Scottish Rite Masons from all five Valleys in New Hampshire: Portsmouth-Dover, Nashua, Concord, Keene and Lancaster-Littleton. The Consistory meets once a year to confer degrees on candidates who have received all of their Valley degrees.

NH Consistory

What is Consistory?

Consistory confers the fourteen degrees from the 19th to the 32nd. A Master Mason must petition to join a local Valley for the 4th to 18th degrees first. Then once a year a Reunion is held to confer the degrees required to become a 32nd degree Mason. Many brothers return in future years to see or take part in the degrees that were not offered the day they became a 32nd degree Mason, which is why it is called a Reunion. The office for administration of New Hampshire Consistory is in the Nashua Masonic Temple building. The head of the body is called Commander-in-Chief.
